Why Attend?
Chem-E Car Competition
AIChE's annual Chem-E-Car Competition® engages college students in designing and constructing a car powered by a chemical energy source, that will safely run a specific given distance and stop.
Chem-E-Car is a design team that provides undergraduates with an opportunity to learn chemical, mechanical, electrical, and programming skill sets.
Team registration and Engineering Design Package (EDP) forms must be submitted by February 10. Management of Change (MOC) forms must be submitted the day before the competition. Forms and additional information can be found on the AIChE ChemE Car Website.
**The University of Florida will be ordering chemicals for all teams.
Teams need to submit a list of chemicals with the chemical name and catalog number by February 10th.
Please use Thermo Fisher and Sigma Aldrich catalog numbers and identify the company used.**

Chem-E Jeopardy Competition
Chem-E-Jeopardy is a competition between university teams with questions from chemical engineering undergraduate coursework. Winning teams advance to the Annual AIChE Student Conference ChemE Jeopardy competition. Two teams per university are allowed to competed
ChemE Jeopardy Registration is due February 10th!
Poster and Oral Presentation Competition
The poster competition gives students the opportunity to present their undergraduate research and earn recognition for their work.
The oral presentation will consist of a 15 minute presentation followed by 3-5 minutes of Q&A. Abstracts are due February 10!
The first place winner of the oral presentation will move on to the national competition in November 2023. First through third place will receive an award.
